A new family-owned restaurant, Bai Kao Thai, recently opened at the Potomac Oaks shopping center on Travilah Road. It’s the third Asian eatery to operate in this space, which was previously home to Shanghai Cafe and 98 Cafe. Bai Kao Thai offers a tasty selection of noodle and rice dishes, curries, dumplings, soups, build-your-own combo bowls and Thai teas, with entrée prices in the $15 to $20 range. It’s open daily for lunch and dinner.
