New place to shop for outdoor furniture in North Bethesda: Yardbird is now open at 11610 Rockville Pike, in the space that used to be home to City Bikes. Yardbird, launched just five years ago in Minneapolis, specializes in eco-conscious furniture made from recycled ocean plastics. (The retailer happens to share its name with a southern-style restaurant chain, famous for its fried chicken, that recently opened in D.C. The two businesses are unrelated.)
