In other diet-busting news, Sarah’s Handmade Ice Cream & Treats will open next Friday (Oct. 9) at the Wildwood shopping center. Sarah’s, which launched last year in Bethesda’s Kenwood neighborhood, already has amassed a loyal fan base for specialty flavors like lavender honey, orange chocolate chip, lemon chiffon and roasted banana walnut. The store also offers vegan and alcohol-infused ice cream, fruity sorbets, milkshakes and custom cakes.
