Rockville Pike has a new place to grab a latte — and soon, a new spot to gear up for the open road. Wild Bean Coffee, a locally owned shop, is now open at 1532 Rockville Pike next door to Video Editor. The menu includes drip coffee, espresso drinks, teas, smoothies, baked goods and fruit bowls. The coffee is made from locally sourced Ethiopian beans, but owners say they will soon begin roasting and selling their own. Meanwhile: A few doors down in the same shopping center, the former Party City space will soon be home to Cycle Gear. The California-based chain sells motorcycle helmets, tires, accessories and clothing — but not the bikes themselves. It’s expected to open this spring.
