Japanese variety store Teso Life is heading to The Shops at Congressional Village, joining an ever-growing lineup of new Asian businesses at the Rockville Pike shopping center. Much like Ebisu Life (also on the Pike) and Miniso at Westfield Montgomery mall, Teso will carry a colorful mix of food, kitchen accessories, household items, pet gear, beauty products, toys and gifts. Ivea Restaurant Group, which bought The Shops at Congressional Village in 2022, is also bringing in a Southeast Asian BBQ restaurant, a “soupless ramen” spot, a revolving sushi bar and a Japanese cafe. No word yet on when any of these businesses might open.
