Bowling/bocce/restaurant chain Pinstripes filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy this week, closing 10 of its 18 locations while it searches for a buyer. But the bowling balls are still rolling at Pike & Rose, where Pinstripes opened in 2017, and the Georgetown location is also expected to stay open. Illinois-based Pinstripes went public in 2023, but expansion plans ended up stalling and its stock tanked the following year. Last March, the company was delisted from the New York Stock Exchange. Although it’s best known for bowling and bocce, Pinstripes actually earns about 80 percent of its revenue from food and drinks. The Pike & Rose location has been a popular venue for parties and events.
