Here’s a sneak peek of Tequila Modern Mexican, which will open its doors next month in downtown Rockville. Tequila, the successor to Trapezeria on North Washington Street, will serve 100 types of tequila and 15 specialty margaritas. This is the first Montgomery County location for the family-owned business, which operates Mexican eateries all over the United States under a variety of different names. Co-owner Jose Reyes is developing the new Tequila Modern brand, decorating the Rockville space with colorful painted skulls, blown-glass hearts, hanging flowers and Instagram-ready wall decor — all of it imported from Mexico.
