Check out the Hanukkah spread: brisket lo mein, potato latkes with sour cream, roasted applesauce and chocolate babka. The Christmas Feast features honey-baked ham or center cut beef tenderloin, mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, roasted chestnuts with celery root salad, roasted squash with pomegranate — plus a can of Ocean Spray cranberry sauce, just like mom used to make. After that comes the New Year’s menu: potato pancakes with crème fraîche and caviar, long noodles and brisket stir-fry, fried chicken, black-eyed peas, and a chocolate and salted caramel tart.
