The long-awaited cut-through at Cabin John Village is finally getting real. All the storefronts between CVS and Giant have essentially been gutted, soon to be replaced by a walk-through/drive-through corridor in the middle of the shopping center. This new configuration, lined with stores and restaurants, will provide easy access between the front and back of the property. This project displaced four tenants over the past two years: Breadsmith (closed in 2020); The Grilled Oyster (relocated in 2021); China Gourmet Bistro (out of business since last fall); and Capital One Bank, which has moved into a new standalone building on the back side of Cabin John.
