Here’s a sneak peek inside the newest Bethesda Bagels, opening Jan. 21st at the Fallsgrove shopping center on Shady Grove Road. “It only took ten months, which is five to six months longer than it normally takes,” says co-owner Stephen Fleishman. “Most people trying to open businesses are facing a lot of shortages on supplies. But we’re thrilled at the way the store came out.” This is the chain’s first location in Rockville and its sixth in the DMV, serving up fresh-baked bagels and spreads, deli sandwiches, soups, pickles and kosher hot dogs. It’s a lot more spacious than the Wildwood location, but still designed for takeout only.
