A new French bakery, Petit Délice, quietly opened its doors last week near downtown Rockville. You’ll find it at 90 West Montgomery Avenue, a few doors down from Bombay Bistro at the former home of Savvy Treats. Running the operation is Nicolas Dreyer, formerly with the Ladurée bakery chain in New York and D.C. His menu features croissants, bagels, sandwiches, quiche, pastries, Illy espresso and Dammann Frères tea. There’s also a small selection of French gifts. This is a tiny space with only a couple of seats inside, so plan on grabbing your food to go.
