Pollo Campero exited Westfield Montgomery mall this week after just two years in the Dining Terrace. It’s the fourth location that the Guatemalan chicken chain has closed this year, following a rapid U.S. expansion in 2024 and ’25. Pollo Campero’s space, between Subway and Panda Express, was most recently home to the short-lived Greek Aroma. But its best-known occupant — from 2016 to the onset of the pandemic — was Beefsteak, the veggie-forward concept from José Andrés that quietly faded away.
