Heading to a movie at Rockville’s Regal theater? Potbelly is temporarily closed, but there are two new fast-casual restaurants to try on East Montgomery Avenue.
- In the former California Tortilla space, the short-lived Chef Wang Kitchen has already been replaced by Mandala Kitchen. This locally owned restaurant serves Indian, Chinese and Nepalese cuisine.
- Feng Hotpot (pictured here) has taken over the former Hot Pot City space but kept the Szechuan-focused menu. Feng is a Chinese company with one other U.S. location in Philadelphia.
- The Potbelly sandwich shop has been closed since February due to water damage, and there’s no word yet on when it will reopen.
