The Pike Center in Rockville may have lost its TGI Fridays, but it’s also getting ready to welcome an Asian food hall. Two years after it was first announced — and with a slightly different lineup — Luna Hall is finally starting construction in the section of Pike Center that once housed Bagel City and Cici’s Pizza. Luna, which launched in D.C.’s Chinatown and now has locations in Wheaton and Ellicott City, is bringing four Asian restaurants and a karaoke room to Pike Center. If all goes well, doors will open this summer. Here’s the current lineup:
- Tous les Jours is a French Asian bakery specializing in cakes, pastries, breads and espresso drinks. Tous les Jours also has a new location at Gaithersburg’s Rio center.
- Top Pot will offer all-you-can-eat Chinese hotpot and Korean barbecue.
- Dumpling District will serve soup dumplings, steamed dumplings, fried dumplings, bao buns and noodle dishes.
- Kung Fu Tea, which shuttered its Pike & Rose location last week, will be reopening inside Luna Hall.
Buena Onda Baja Taqueria, which was originally supposed to be part of this project, is no longer coming to Rockville.
