This week we bid adieu to Patrizia Luca, one of the last independent retailers at Westfield Montgomery mall. After five years and several forced relocations — you can now find Patrizia Luca on the second floor next to Apple — owner Mahmoud Nassaj says he’s finally calling it quits. With fewer people shopping in person, and little demand for the “night-on-the-town” clothing that he sells, Nassaj is clearing out his remaining merchandise and plans to close at the end of March. Meanwhile, on the other end of the mall: Discount women’s clothing chain Mulier, selling everything for $8.99 or less, will be opening in what used to be the Sears wing.
