Liljenquist & Beckstead has moved next door to its new space at Westfield Montgomery mall, featuring a dedicated Rolex boutique where you can’t actually purchase one of the $6,000-plus timepieces. There were just a few of the coveted watches in stock on opening weekend — but those are long gone, and the Rolex shortage continues. So all you can do now is try on the floor models and add your name to a very, very long waiting list. Shoppers with less patience can purchase one of the store’s other watches by Tudor, Omega, Breitling or Tag Heuer. The rest of the floor space is now dedicated exclusively to David Yurman; the store no longer carries any other lines of women’s jewelry.

As the General Manager of this location, I would like to say that you can actually purchase Rolex watches in this beautiful new store of ours. The demand is high, and many watches are already spoken for as they arrive. Please visit our store in person for more accurate information.

We did in fact visit the new Westfield Montgomery store in person, and we asked about the possibility of purchasing a Rolex at this location. We were told exactly what we shared here: There are no watches currently in stock for purchase, and there’s a long waiting list for even the possibility of buying one next year. Just as you said, it appears any watches that do arrive at the store are already spoken for.
