It seems there’s always room for another bubble tea spot in Rockville. Six months after Tea-Do closed its doors at 838 Rockville Pike, Cuppa Tea has taken over the space. The New York-based chain, known for its Hong Kong-style milk teas and fruit teas, also serves up snacks like curry fish balls and waffles. Cuppa Tea, which previously operated out of a Rockville warehouse, joins a long list of local bubble tea spots with still more on the way. Next up is the Chinese chain HeyTea, now under construction at Wintergreen Plaza.
