Guess who’s been building out that glass-enclosed corner space at Cabin John Village? Bluemercury, the D.C.-based skincare and beauty chain, will make its debut there on May 7th. “We’ve been getting requests to come to Potomac for years, and we’ve had this store in the works for awhile but the pandemic slowed things down,” says company spokesman Megan Mastroianni. Bluemercury specializes in spa lines and niche brands with an emphasis on female founders, she says. “We do a lot of sampling. We would love for you to go home with some products and really make sure your regimen works for you, rather than have you come back and return the things you bought.” Once pandemic restrictions have eased, the Cabin John location will offer facials, waxing and other aesthetic treatments.
