Wonder, a new kind of food hall offering mix-and-match restaurant menus, is heading to Rockville Pike. Wonder brings together popular dishes from multiple restaurants, including national fast casual chains as well as chef-driven concepts from the likes of José Andrés and Bobby Flay. The D.C.-area locations also work with local eateries like Unconventional Diner, Taco Bamba, Little Beet, Rocklands Barbeque, Peter Chang and Busboys and Poets. You can order online or via on-site kiosks, choosing dishes from multiple menus in a single transaction. The Rockville Pike location will offer a bit of seating, but the Wonder model is designed primarily for takeout and delivery. Doors are set to open in March at the Towne Plaza shopping center, a few doors down from Tatte and California Fish Grill.

Really, more fast food outlets. What North Bethesda really needs is a sit down good middle of the road restaurant!
