French bakery Vie de France is closing its doors at Rockville Town Square, departing Oct. 23rd after a decade in business on Maryland Avenue. “There’s a shortage of labor now, and the other locations in White Flint and Potomac are much busier than this one,” an employee tells us. Elsewhere on the same block, the two-year-old Asian restaurant Friendship BBQ also went dark this week. In the latter case, it’s not yet not clear if the closing is temporary or permanent.
