The Washington Sports Club chain has filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy, but the North Bethesda location is staying open along with five others in the D.C. area. Sales of home exercise equipment continue to be off the charts, but the pandemic has been tough on gyms: Gold’s Gym and 24 Hour Fitness are also in Chapter 11.
