Amazon Prime Day has come and gone, but there are still plenty of bargains to be had as retailers work hard to unload their pandemic-fueled excess inventory. Stores like Target, Macy’s, Gap, American Eagle and Best Buy are now offering deep discounts on athleisure clothing, sporting goods, consumer electronics, home decor and other categories that are currently flooding the market. All these stores need to make room for fresh fall items, so whatever they can’t sell will eventually wind up at discount chains like Marshall’s, HomeGoods and Burlington. And much of it will still be in pristine condition, having never even made it out of the warehouse.
