Two great signs that things are getting back to normal around here: The iPic movie theater and the Lucky Strike bowling alley will both reopen May 20th. The return of iPic, one of the original anchors at Pike & Rose, is a happy surprise: This luxury theater has managed to survive not only the pandemic, but also the 2019 bankruptcy filing of its parent company. Guests will notice some new safety measures, including masks for all and temperature checks at the door. Meanwhile, Lucky Strike should help bring back a bit of nightlife for Westfield Montgomery mall after the recent news that ArcLight won’t be reopening. This time around, there will be lots of sanitizing — and bowling balls will be labeled to discourage sharing.
