Exciting new restaurant taking over the Lahinch space at Cabin John Village: Augie’s Mussel House and Beer Garden, expanding to Potomac from its original location in Old Town Alexandria. In addition to mussels, clams and beer, Augie’s specializes in Belgian and German fare like bratwurst, brisket, steak frites, pretzels and beer cheese. Lahinch closed its doors last month after a six-year run at Cabin John Village, in part because its concerts were too noisy for residents of the center’s newly built townhomes. No word yet on how soon Augie’s might open.
