Cava and Lilly Pulitzer both went dark this week at Westfield Montgomery mall — but it’s only for a short time. Lilly Pulitzer, which opened there in 2014, is getting a facelift and should return by late October. Cava, on the other hand, will be closed for at least three months. It’s been 12 years since Cava opened in the mall’s then-new Dining Terrace. This location was one of the very first of what is now a restaurant empire. Cava, which was created by three friends right here in Rockville, now has more than 475 restaurants nationwide.
