China Taste/Tokyo Express, a neighborhood fixture in Rockville since the 1980s, has closed its doors at 155 Rollins Ave. The owners’ daughter, Sabrina Li, posted on social media that her parents have decided to retire. “We’re sorry we didn’t announce it sooner,” she said, “but my parents wanted a quieter, more low-key goodbye when they closed the restaurant. It’s hard to put into words how bittersweet it feels to watch this place go since it was their ‘baby.’ ” Li added that no one will be taking over the business. “In her own sentimental way,” she said, “mom couldn’t bear to see anyone else running it.”
