When Sisters Thai abruptly went dark at Cabin John Village last week, fans worried that Potomac might be losing another favorite local restaurant. But owner Tammie Disayawathana, who oversees the Virginia-based Sisters chain, assures us that the closing will be brief. First there were some technical issues, she says, “and then we took this opportunity to do a deep clean.” Sisters, which opened in 2019, will likely be back in business by next week.
