Here’s one thing we know for sure about Rockville Town Square: People really hate paying to park there. In fact, the annoyance of forking over a few extra bucks seems to be outweighed only by the hassle of asking merchants to validate one’s parking ticket. So we’re happy to report that the Square has finally put an end to all that. Effective immediately: All parking is free for the first two hours, no validation required. If you’ve been thinking about checking out some of those new stores and restaurants, or enjoying a meal at one of the colorful new outdoor tables on Gibbs Street, consider this your invitation.
